- I am a wife, mom of 2 wonderful kids, and teacher. Our lives have been on a very new journey since the birth of our son in Nov. 07. He was born with a complete bilateral cleft lip/palate. I have learned more from my children than I ever could have imagined. I am extremely blessed and invite you to come share our adventures together!

Hello. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with a little girl, Riley, who will be born with a bilateral cleft and probable palate. I came across your blog through some other cleft family's blogs. Reid is so cute! It is so helpful to read through other's experiences with clefts. If you don't mind, I'll add you to my blog list and probably ask lots of questions. Thanks!
I was just reading the comments on my blog and found yours. Thank you for your kind words. It has been such a difficult few weeks for us, with Gavin's surgery and my mom's passing. I still feel completely lost without her and don't know what to do, but I do appreciate the outpouring of love and kindness from fellow bloggers.
I noticed that you haven't posted in awhile, but I will follow your blog and look forward to seeing updates on your adorable little Reid! Gavin is doing great and I am planning to post some new pics today. Thanks again for your comment. :o)

I realize you are probably deep into other things now, but I just discovered your blog about Reid's Journey. I am a Pediatric Feeding Specialist and I teach other therapists how to help kiddos and their families with eating. I would love to be able to refer them to this blog for a peek at the "home" side of dealing with cleft lip and palate. I'd also love to show some of Reid's pictures in my seminars. Would that be possible?
I know you haven't been posting anymore, so I am not sure if you are checking your comments. I just want to say thank you for sharing Reid's story! We have just started our journey with our son and it is so wonderful to see the pictures of your handsome son and to see him happy after all I know he has been through!
